Arts 4 Us Specialty (Registered Programme for children and teens with ASD & other disorders)
Arts 4 Us Specialty Group currently is offered for school age children, tweens and teens on the Autism Spectrum and with related disorders at Orakei Community Centre. The programme is designed to support social skills and emotional literacy through art making. This programme combines the arts accessibility of our popular drop in ‘Arts 4 Us’ programme, with the individualised therapeutic support and small group size of our ‘STARS’ programme. Arts 4 Us General (Drop in Groups)
Arts 4 Us (general programme) is a drop in arts therapy programme held during term time for school aged children. Run specifically for children local to the area where the programme is held, art is used as a medium to aid self esteem and confidence, strengthen self identity and develop art skills.
Dance & Art Therapy NZ currently run two general Arts 4 Us programmes in Auckland; one at the Oranga Community Centre (Onehunga), and one at the Manu Tukutuku Centre (Manurewa).
We also currently have a Arts 4 Us Dunedin at the St James Presbyterian Church.
Arts 4 All is a drop in arts therapy programme for Adults and is run from The Village Church Presbyterian Centre, 460 Papanui Road (Papanui, Christchurch).
