AnneAnne Hurst, MA Clinical Arts Therapy, RN

Anne has a background working in Mental Health as a Registered Nurse, and completed her MA in Clinical Arts Therapy with a specialisation in Dance Movement Therapy in 2012. Anne spent a year as an intern with DTNZ in 2011, and assisted the North Shore STARS Programme in 2013. Anne works with children and adults with special needs, and in Eating Disorder Treatment. Anne also leads a wellness dance programme on Friday evenings in Grey Lynn.

 

LesleyLesley Hawkins, Dip. Prof. Couns., Cert. DMT (Melbourne), DTAA Assoc.

Lesley acquired her Melbourne based qualifications in Counselling and Dance Movement Therapy in the early 2000s. With a passion for dance and movement since young, she began her studies in Dance Movement Therapy in London with pioneers in the field such as Dr Helen Payne.  Lesley has experience working in clinical and community settings with a broad spectrum of people, from teenagers to older adults, across a variety of cultures.  Areas of experience include, depression, eating disorders, family violence, addiction, brain injury, dementia, and physical and intellectual disability. Dance and movement offers such a joyous path to wellbeing and Lesley enjoys facilitating the health and learning benefits it offers.
